Deathwatch Overkill: 40K Adjacent
I’m still not a huge 40K kind of guy. I’m drifting a bit that way, but it’s pretty slow. I think that’s why Deathwatch Overkill appeals to me. It’s a ten year old boxed game at this point. You don’t have to use a tape measure. Line of sight is never an issue and there’s no cover. So far, my inner lightweight gamer is onboard. The minis are pretty sweet too. I have a couple White Dwarf magazines with DWOK content, which also piqued my interest. So I jumped in. I was fortunate to find an unpunched (though there’s nothing to punch, only minis and cards) edition for a reasonable amount of doubloons.
